Take Me To The Water

Filled with evil, my heart tore. My soul in agony, wanting nothing more. But to be cleansed and washed by the healing stream. The cleansing stream plunges and washes me. I am no longer bathe in sin. I am healed by your waves of love that crashes over me. I rise to walk in a new life. I am certain of my destiny. It's a new day dawning in the water, where all my sins are washed away. Take me to the water to be baptized and I'll open my eyes with new life. Take me to the water where I'll be made whole by love. -Nicky 

Precious Blood

Love gave me you, your blood made me new. As it was pouring I saw life. I felt love renewing, my heart being made whole. Saving grace of your spirit sealed unconditional love. Uniting me with precious blood and going on into eternity. Thank you for the abundance of love. -Nicky

Sorrow is better than laughter

My heart cringes, scary realties set in. Hope is gone, my help is feeble. 
tears don't seem to cease, laughter comes dancing through the pain. Through every smile is my song of sadness. I long for when hurting will come to an end, only the heart's joy is awaiting. But until then I sit in silence, while the sorrows of my heart are enlarged and surrounds me continuously as I wait for you. Waiting for your soul to set me free. The king of love there's  where I find my eternity. Beneath your wings is where I'm free. And all the pain is swelled in bundles of smiles and sweet laughter where the envelope of brokenness held my pain. -Nicky 

Safe in Thy Hands

Safety is a secret place of Love

It’s the security of peace and lasting happiness 

It’s joy when your heart is sad 

Thy hands hold me up through uncertainties 

Difficult moments open to embrace your presence 

A new heart is found with you 

and in you there is the legacy of salvation 

I can find myself in other secret places 

But the most joy I find is being with you

The Pain Inside my Heart

Squeezing of my lungs
It’s toughly pressed within my chest
The hard cores of my flesh
raging deeply inside me
Screaming for relief from this fear
Crying in anguish to remove the snare
Of evil that has been cursed on my lips
and death that has surround me in a kiss
My pain awakens in me and shouts aloud to stop the plague of sin
It ruining my soul
and leaving me Unforgiven
Is there any hope for me?

Ocean Rider

“ The waves came today crashing at me and I saw within it your love soaring. Today I just went, me and my surfboard underneath the heat of the ocean. I saw lovely things as the waves crashed together beneath me. I flew over every tide and thought of the many struggles that tried to break my smile. I knew I won every heartache by rising over every tide with my surf board in the tide of the midnight cry of my life!”

A Boys Wonder

Staring at the sky and watching its sunset, the little boy begins to dream and feels a sense of beauty fill his heart. His eyes gaze in the wonder of such a beautiful creation and wonders of beauty. The clouds dance towards him and sing in soft melodies as it paints colors across the widespread sky. He begins to think there must be a God and if there is he is greater than me. In his soul opens a flood of love and he knows because it’s everywhere. ~Nicky

Forever Ocean
