The Strongest Hurricane

We remain strong like Mr. Kane

Strengthen us from any type of prejudice slain

Our spirits shall feel no pain

During the strongest hurricane

Trying to find the better words to erase the rage

Our hearts shouldn't cage

Faith, love, clarity and opportunity work with us

Courage show us logicality of our thinking

Release the silence that the pride ignores to see

Expose all the direct harm

Secretive people try not to alarm

Dirt from unpleasant charm

Was done in Mississippi

Prejudice and hateful laws was proudly applauded

Mr. Kane knew his father as being the best

Only to realize his father's belief of understanding was infested

Hidden ties

Of many lies

His past relations

Kidnapped tribes from nurturing lands

Enslaved, raped, and enraged families

Families torn apart indeed through greed

Mr. Kane past relations - Became heartless, overpowering the lives of others,

With tragedy in the worst possible way

During the strongest hurricane

Prejudice and hateful laws was proudly applauded

Mr. Kane became a man - observed and learned his own ways of experiencing situational awareness for himself,

And

Leaned on being open-minded and fair-minded in life,

Advocated on principles of righteousness

Acted on stopping the spread of mis-teaching wrongfully through racism,

Communicated for change to restore goodness in the hearts, minds, and souls of all people,

Here in Mississippi

Being on a serious direction, not showing a smile of being polite to foolishness only started a fight

Because Mr. Kane skin was white

He believed - the love of freedom and joining plans to build a stronger foundation for all people should be right

And

Stated, "Do not hold ill-thoughts, enmity, bitterness nor selfishness this tight,

It would destroy the beautiful sight,

Enduous the following acts of negativity and damaging ways with all your heart and might,

Here in Mississippi."

During the strongest hurricane

A hatred voice shouted, "N*gger lover, your home will be burning down tonight!"

Mr. Kane stated, "I'm a leader of my own decisions and behave with self-control,

I'm capable of lifting a balanced mindset when life shifts with emotional insults,

I'm living nice, mindful, unified, and warless -

Not cowardly,

Collaboration of sensible choices matters for all people here in Mississippi ."

Here in Mississippi

The committee

Will be reconstructed and fair in our city

Mr. Kane Overcame the strongest hurricane
