I'm standing in the street
cars going around me
hoping that somebody
somewhere finds me
come to me care enough
to remind me that it's
dangerous standing
in the street holding up
traffic out here laughing
standing in the street
must be a crime
punishable by law
here comes police
time to walk the line
time to feel the sting
what's wrong with
standing in the street
call me in to eat
if you care bout me
standing in the street
feeling free as I'll ever
be it I'm assassinated
today it will be a smile
across my face I got no
tears in my eyes to waste
standing in the street
that's where you'll
find me like I'm on salvia
some Kind of substance
in my system I'm not
on drugs nor ever was
nothing like nature
gives me a blissful buzz

who's going to save me in time
