If you ever think, about last summer
sneaking out, pushing our luck
going to the drive in, in my dadâ€™s truck
dancing, in your living room
while you sang to me, that girly tune
laughing together, side by side
I loved that silly carnival ride
fireworks in the rain
before I tried, to forget your name
..
when you kiss her
do you think, of last winter
walking me home, under the moon
I hope, this ache ends soon
do you recall
the night, I told you it all
you said, I love you too
I guess, it just wasnâ€™t true
.
I guess visiting home
makes me, feel alone
Iâ€™m forced into, the reality
that itâ€™s still shaking me
and, all I can think about
is you walking out
all that, goes through my head
are the last, few words you said

Small apartments
Barely making rent
Cold day, warm drinks
