My Story

My war with life started early.

Although both of my parents were in my life, my home was still broken.

My father was battling his inner demons, drugs and heavily drinking.

My mother tried her best to raise me and my siblings on her own, but she was also battling with her inner demons.

Consumed with bitterness and anger towards her own mother, it prevented my mother from showing us love and affection.

Due to a horrible accident, my oldest brother was paralyzed from the neck down and left him speechless.

My youngest sister was born with a cliff palette, which affected her speech and made her the target of bullying.

 As a young child, I had to be strong for my siblings and I couldn’t show any weakness.

Unfortunately, my strength was challenged when I lost my virginity to my uncle who was pedophile.

The hurt, betrayal and pain could never be explained.

You don't know me but I know you.

I know the secrets you try to hide.

or the thoughts in my head.

I go by many names and come in many forms.

I'm naughty and nice My heart can be warm but it also can be cold as ice.

I'm the spirit of darkness.

I'm the creator of madness.

I'm the devil's spawn and

the demons are my pawns.

I'm the thug in ya streets.

I go harder than dre's beats.

I'm the O.G. in the game.

I'm the wild beast that can't be tamed.

I'm the fire that sparks the flame.

I'm heroine mixed with cocaine.

I'm the pleasure and the pain.

I'm hennesy mixed with gin;

She woke up different.

She woke up with God.

Although the life she had lived was bitter sweet and hard,

She still kept love in her heart.

Although she was betrayed

by the ones she loved,

She still trusted God and prayed.

Through God, her life has been reformed.

Her old ways and perception has been transformed.

She sees the true motives of others with her eyes wide open.

You must be at the top of your game in order for her to let you in.

No longer will she lower her standards again.

God has given her a new path.

Those who come against her will feel his wrath.

She's on a new journey; Walking with God faithfully.

Everything the devil destroyed and stole,

God is replacing and making her whole.

She's fierce, determined and ambitious.

She's a phoenix rising from the ashes to a blazing fire;

A woman God has elevated higher.

If these walls could speak;

It would tell the secrets that it keep.

It would tell how your love makes my body weak,

Volcanic eruptions of passion that brings my orgasm to it's peak.

writing poetry on the walls of my velvet room.

Exposing my inner most feelings.

The ones my heart has been concealing.

As our soul unite as one,

Trying hard to conceal

what our hearts are trying to reveal.

what we feel; When it shows in our eyes.

When I eased your worries,

You gave me stress.

When I loved you and no one else,

You only loved yourself.

When my eyes lit up for you,

You dimmed the light with the crap you put me through.

You took my love for granted.

Now that I'm moving on, you can't stand it.

Our story has finally come to an end.

I'm on a new journey with a different outlook.

You are the last chapter in my book.

I may have to walk alone for awhile

and feel the sting of this seperation.

I will let go and trust God to do the rest.
