Of Resurrected Memories...

What if memories died

and were never fossilized

to resurrect?  Our story

would be the lying hyena chapter

of his story told to two-footed

black pets about where they came from;

It is not enough to just live and die;

we must leave behind fossilized footprints

and resurrected memories for the children

to feast upon and unleash the whining

black panther spirit waiting to roam freely:

Let us who remember, to remember

what It is that we the living must be doing

to leave fossilized memories and footprints

for the children to resurrect and follow

that they too may be resurrected memories.

Let us no longer let Ourstory be regulated

to a day, a week, a month;  rather, let it be

an eternal resurrected moment

for each breath of our children…and theirs.

Many thanks to you, love_supreme. You continue to energize and fuel me with inspiration. The Queen's and my present health conditions are not as we may desire, yet it is revealed each morning that there are those who are worst off than we are and that the best way to serve our Creator is to be in/of service to those whose needs are greater than our own. Peace and Love.
