Journey of self

When they said the world was ours

I grabbed the baton and sprinted toward Mars

I was aiming for a planet but soon became a star

Then I travelled so far

That I eventually met myself

Facing trials and tribulations through sickness and health

My adventures shaped me into the man that I am today

I traveled alone but God was there when I’d pray

Valleys and mountains made me strong and weak

Humble and proud in triumph and defeat

It’s the journey not the destination that we all should seek

So ture, my Brother! I have always taught that the journey is more important than the destination. For it is in journeying that we acquire the where-with-all (knowledge, skills and determination) to reach our destinations. Thanks for the share. Peace and Love, mlowe5
