CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD...?

CATEGORY

Views: 355

We have achieved much

and won a lot,

but there is so much yet

to achieve and win;

Yes, we are the champions

of the world,

but there remains so much

yet to be championed;

We have won others

world wars of freedom,

but have yet to win our own;

Yes, we have won Grammys,

Oscars & Emmys,

but have yet to win Equality

and all its Equanimities;

Pity, we’ll remain champions

of the world…

but when will it be of ours…?
