A haiku

Then tonkas

Closing with  haiku

C2

Money grows on trees

Then we burn them to the ground

 ...is it our karma

Why are we strangers in time

We used to trade all our lives

Now all we live is alone

Never to find our way home

In our history

Our tears so softly falling

We are not happy

Well crafted Charles2. I particularly fell in love with haiku when I discovered some years ago, that Richard Wright had written over 4,000 haiku during the latter years of his life. An excellent Japanese style easily penned in a Black perspective. Enjoyed this powerful read. Thanks for sharing, Peace and Love, mlowe5
