Black Lives Matters

We never really know, do we?

Who has our best interest and who's doing it for show

I am the target in generation genocide and don't need the fake

Born black

Die black

Live black

Try black

My blackness has become my reality

If you love me like a brother

Call me by my name

I am not a rare breed or new discovery

I've been black since my great grandfather

I've been black since my grandmother

I was black before my mother and before my father

This temple in all of its glory is majestic

It is holy, it is prestine, it is treasured

It Matters
