As I stare in the mirror I seek peace through the pain injected in me.
When I laughed, you heard me.
When I smiled, you saw me.
When I was happy, you felt me.
Then the crave of superficial flesh gave way to thee,
So when I cried, you became deaf to me.
When I frowned, you became blind to me.
When I was disappointed, it was her touch to your mental flesh that became near and familiar to thee.
My submission to love and respect you still fought for the foundation of hope and faith I bled for you.
But when I called for you, I didn't hear you.
When I searched for you, I didn't see you.
When I prayed for you, the enemy stole you by means of the weakness in your flesh her potion possessed in you.
So to the old you I bid farewell to, as it took over and drowned out the God in you that I was drawn to.
