So this is enlightened American age
Time flies but still slow burns disenfranchised rage
Unable to change history or habits
While ignorance reigns and multiplies like rabbits
Pests best the least who show fear by squirming
Men afraid of mice and other vermin
Set traps and buy semi-automatic straps for no good reason
Laws legislate morals and promote hunting season
Not for beasts but for burdens
Of society, economically on wrong side of the tracks
The uneducated poor, Native Americans, Hispanic and Blacks
In prison making street signs and license plates for ten cents per hour
While the fortunate majority have EZ passes, freedom, and power
