Being a mere provider
is a lonely chosen journey.
We all need to be needed; and
need to be wanted to be needed.
Why has time thwarted this need?
True love needs no power struggle.
Yet, for the once powerless,
even in love, power craves its self.
Loneliness in togetherness
struggles with its own oxymoronic
insistence—Holding its fragile own…
Ironically, it’s not about
being always right; but rather
the fear of being wrong. Thus,
the proverbial last word.
Lost is the understanding:
‘To disagree is not to disavow.’
Freedom grants all an opinion.
And all opinions have a right;
irrespective of individual conclusion.
In this union, neither of us is less
than the other. There is no equating
of individual suffering.
Equanimity is anchored in enduring love.
Love: seeking and knowing its self. Love:
The one and only elixir of self.
