Fees increasing on time shares
Your problems and mine, lemons and pears
Different trees, fruits bitter and sweet
You had a silver spoon while I'd barely eat
I washed cars but you own a fleet
My dinner is beans but you get meat
If the tables turned would I give you some crumbs?
Or also disregard you like vagrants, bums?
Why can’t we start off equal like back grade school alums?
Instead we both chase bread just to get large sums
But when the race ends, we can no longer pretend
That field was level and that there was a chance that I could win
Bogged down with the weight of fate but still manage to grin
With hopes and dreams that one day that I can do it again
