I remember all the parts of you.
You have this way about your face when you were shy
Where your eyes would slowly drop
Your confident look for a moment break
And in that instant you were a little girl again
I could see you on the playground
Swinging on the swings and playing hopscotch
I could see you running across the park
With the wind to keep you company
And without a care in the world
I could see you being caring by the wind
And I enjoyed that moment
For just as soon as you remembered the pain of your life
The strong stoic face would return
and the confident girl would once again emerge
But for that moment - I share that little girl with you
