I use to leave my footprints In dark places

Where no friendly smiles were seen on many faces

Just a world of tyranny, prostitution, assault, drugs, and murder cases

The key for survival was to mute your tongue to avoid all strife

Talking too much causes sleepless nights and the fear of loosen your life

Death, I noticed have become prevalent, accepted as the norm

One day I decided to distance myself, cut the strings from non motivating folks, seek stability, and move foward

To not Ever Look Back Never

So I Prayed to The LORD and asked of Him to meet me halfway to my future endeavors

Today I can now look back and say that on this day my wife and I have been married for more than  twenty four years, and successfully raised two children

A family of four but together we are one with the Lord

For my family I give my all, sacrifice to manifest into the perfect husband, be that outstanding father keeps his families business within, be their sole protector, and provider
