I still got a good amount of hair on my head for a 35 year old, I look at some cats from my high school class and that has disappeared like the looks and body shape of the popular girl senior year, some linings have been pushed back like black folks at the bank, applying for a business loan, and yes, I don’t have a full head of waves any more, but there are still a few ripples up there which allow me to swag surf on microphones, I am grateful I can still put a stocking cap on after greasing my to step out the door in a suit, take my woman out on a date so I can see her walk that walk in those heels, because I may have lost some of my hair at 35 but I still haven’t lost my ability to ***, so I’m grateful, and in the good book my man Samson’s strength was in his hair, then Delilah cut it, so maybe that’s why some Black students are told that you can’t walk across this stage until you are trimmed up, nice and neat, meet the standards that won’t get you harassed by the police, check this white folks, I’m black, no matter the length of my hair my skin tone signals 85 on a police radar even when I am doing the speed limit, so while you holla trim it, or you won’t be able to graduate, I wonder was this question posed when he was running for 237.6 yards a game, averaging three touchdowns and a pair of broken ankles as the token black running back, I wonder were those dreads a problem when was averaging 18, 11 and 6 while shootin 52% from the field, decorating your rafters with banners, I mean he was cool for four years then when it was time for the degree, his Black pedigree was too much, he is out of regulation, but I figured out your sneaky situation, see dreads are like roots that sprout trees, so in your eyes if the branches are too long then the slave can’t hang, so you want em at proper length so his feet have no chance of touching the ground, so he can dangle, so the rope can snap the throat on impact, hey white people, in my sincerest form, I say *** you, just cause I got dreads don’t get this twisted, unlike you, this dark tan is permanent, it does not disappear a few days after leaving the beach on summer vacation, so the next time you decide to comment on my Black situation, ensure to disseminate all means of your cultural appropriation of my culture, see you remind me of vultures, waiting in the wings to steal things you didn’t work for, and I get that your used to this cause you’ve been stealing black for the last few centuries, including the 2/5th that would of made us equal, but here’s the sequel to your movie that you didn’t wanna see, your clean cut is the same smut that walks around on wall street, robbing the middle class, or wearing white robes in a catholic church, fondling some lil boys ass, all in the name of a God, that you whitewashed, with a lil bit of Tide with bleach, because the speech I read said skin of bronze, hair of sheep’s wool, so who in the *** is this crackheadhippie with a beard you parade around in a picture frame, looking like a revitaligo havingRick James, I mean damn, can we keep anything to ourselves, you couldn’t have been Gods of Egypt because the minute the sun was positioned at its highest peak your skin would’ve cracked more than the white powder Reagan flooded the ghetto with, hey black youth, the next time they say cut your hair, tell em its ya ancestors hangin on to the seed they planted...
