I don't know who or whose behind the mask I try to take it off but you fight to hide your face from me so I sit and wait to see who you truly are underneath the veil I try to remove but you break away from me so I can't see you for who you are you hide your scars like you're the only one wounded since tis war started you've been heavily guarded behind walls you constructed a fortress around you in a forest of tree's so far away I can't believe I found you though you keep pushing me away I can't seem to stay from around you doing things that get under my skin but I can't seem to stay mad at you I can't seem to understand why you wear so much makeup even when you wakeup your face is painted like a Picasso canvas artistically your beauties priceless underneath the colors of rainbows sadly you will never see your reflection through all the smoke and mirrors hanging around
