Pretty brown eyes,
don't weep from under the melanin;
she is stunning
and you too can see that,
saturating the underlining
of an unbroken makeup,
but for all the world to entreat
that she too fall flat.

Tired of being— the laugh of the joke, the fun of the poke with no hopes, what dreams?
Screams with no voice, soft as that of a mouse trapped and tapped out, hollow like holes in the cheese

Sheltered
Summer's night had a sky blue, I remember very clearly being caught dead to rights, but it was worth it to see you
Pebble stones aloft thoughtful falling over and again like I had all for your enchanting creation, though flaws didn’t miss the eyeful
A glimpse of you felt as always like the endless perspective of stars, greeting me at the weathered windowpane wanting and wishing the desolation away. |

A prisoner in my own mind shackled to the brain’s stem, I keep conjuring that belief, |
Off to See the WizardShe was all of my words spoken, but choked became the reality of gravity taking the sanity from the mind she gave me.
Made me? Oh nah, but she helped paved me like a yellow brick road til I had a heart for the first time.
Mine she was but mind she was home with herself accept where she wanted to be as I could not find my courage.
Core is... not deploring a woman of the isle leaving her on an island to be a man for herself.

State of MindSugar, sugar molasses brown sweet like cereal milk at the end of my breakfast.
My zest leads from you following your footsteps out from bed headed two steps closer to future.
Two steps closer to pewter strands having grown old together, tattered some through the journey while still forging our black love.
Us, evermore touching shoulders seated at the thrown creating an empire.

UnwantedGood for nothing but making babies ex called me shady when I'd been all of the sun.
She'd run into the dark of night telling ghost stories about how I wasn't worthy.
Dirty dancing on some caspers' crotch, she was hot in the panties but only given cold leers.
Chills up the spine, hers not mine of the nightmare she had feared.

Silence of the LambsAll was clamor where they'd play, but silence became of the lambs; their air shot dead wounded by the lion's eye. A suffocating intrusion heaving to endure the bind while protectors scramble to shield the innocence. Too late were their reactions and young lives fell negated. Young lives taken, boys for men playing I hate you with bullets rather than with the swing of a fist.

Shades of GreyShe self medicated the tension between us, headaches meditated softly.
Rum and coffee, cocoa and toffee, her nook in the corner wanted no parts of me.
Her pages turned before her filaments gray, too old for an age displayed not of grown men.
We spanned over years but I was a stunt in growth, a chapter not read to finish, an ending before the end.

A Daughter's CryBroken, not an x-ray nor color knew her bruise, she was open for closure.
Lying by her bed side he covered her feelings up til she pressed that button calling to nurse her self.
In good health she excercised her demon that couldn't get the pleasure out of his eyes when he saw her.
His own daughter, she lived unfathered, rather like a lady of the streets being no man's queen.
She was some man's dream and she knew that beyond the virginity she couldn't get back. |
