Conceived in the midst
Of the flames,
While born in the pit.
Moul soul inherited inequities
As the law of fate permits.
Fire burns within my heart
And my eyes have grown dim.
The blood of fury pollutes
My veins, as my hopes
becomes grim.
My plights are sinister
On so many levels.
As I walk through the inferno
I'm throwing blows with
the devil.
As they see the smoke
Still left in my trail of blaze,
They're still amazed
At my sanity's existence.
To their no hold barred against me
I am resistant.
But the blood that stains my eyes
Have been spilled
From my soul.
These waging wars
Are an ancient mystery unfold.
A casualty of war
Even from my mothers womb.
"A RAGING WARRIOR TILL THE END".
Is what they'll read from
The top of my tomb.
I'm a one womans army,
Bearing the weight of my wounds.
With no allies or remedies.
The whole damn world
Is the Black Woman's enemy...
