One day I looked up and She was Gone
She didn't leave abruptly yet, indeed left me all alone.
She was the fire in my stride
The needed kick in my side
With her I could feel, I was real
She was feisty without a doubt
But why did she decide to check out?
She fathomed what they said
Always stayed one step ahead
She could cut one down with one word
Never gave a damn about what they heard
but she left me standing in the center of my oz
without so much as a cause
Now I look but don't see
I touch but don't feel
I care but don't share
With her, heads turn when I enter a room
But no longer does my flower bloom
All that I am is locked inside of me
Longing and aching to be set free
Only She can set fire to ignite my glow
But where in the world did she go?
