And so for years he dreamed awake,
He walked the earth in search of place,
He talked with birds and trees and snake,
But found to no avail,
For the answers which the prince did seek,
Revealed themselves to not the weak,
But to the strong, the brave and kind,
To those of heart, and those of mind.
Free from the world of weary woes,
With sword in hand the hero chose,
To fight the world until he found,
The noise without a sound.
He'd heard it once, he'd heard it twice,
He learned of virtue, turned from vice
He swore the oath: protect the light!
And walk the path alone.
So they say, beneath the moon,
A warrior hero seeks her tune,
Her melody, sweeter...keeps him swoon,
He'll keep her through the gloom.
