52 days post Covid-19 in some ways
Has been like an entire year of Saturdays
When my daughter left a pen mark on our tan couch
I knew it would never come out
Frustration and silly mistakes we’d both make
Finding a balance between discipline and giving her a break
With no school or summer camp this year
I'm learning to parent with more reason and less fear
