Suddenly I felt
a tingling chill flowing
from my shoulder
down to my fingertips.
The outside flora swayed,
Dancing back and forth as the sky’s
face smiled, shedding small cute
crocodile tears.
Dormant by passing time,
faded falling flower buds and
shelled seeds sought storage
shelters beneath earth’s catacombs.
Amazed, I sat there contemplating
this strange serene scene of nature’s
rendering of spring’s beauty in the midst
of the pandemonium, we continue to bear.
Just as suddenly, the swaying plants
came to rest, the rain stopped and
a plethora of beautiful birds descended,
pecking in the freshly watered grass.
God has so many ways of rendering His
very present refuge and healing strength
in our audacious blooming hope and faith
in times of pandemic trials and tribulations.
