walking down a dark street full of guns and enemies she rose.
staring at the whiteness in their actions she rose.
speaking peace into existence her reason for existence she rose
laying on the park bench it's cold.
thinking how can I rise up she spoke
wondering how to get some clean water she snuck into the store but never stole.
that would never make her clean that would never make her whole.
she walked countless days and nights trying to stay alive with the words and niga screaming at her from the white guy she rose.
not because she wanted to but because she new if she didn't she would never know. so. she rose.
with little here and little there she new that she didn't care but, she rose,
she lived in the same city as her family but, they didn't want her because of her skin code
she was to dark.
a few cities away lied the other side that hated her because she spoke up for what is right but, she rose.
this is not okay. to be treated unjustly, because you speak up.
They want to lock you up if your outside and scream at the top of your lungs they want to call you crazy.
clearly you need help they say. I will never be a slave!!!!!! she says
Still she rose, when they try to place a boulder in the road as she was walking she found another way.
They tried to degrade her in S.A. but not even the all live matters Christianity could work against her. still, she rose. no food some days because they would try to poison her food and boy they don't want her to speak because their career days will be through.
she Rose to smell nice and sweet a beautiful woman you would love to meet she don't take any and if you lie to her she can be mean but as long as you are real and honest you will see she is a beautiful Queen.
Through it all, SHE ROSE
