Black QueenSmooth beautiful sunkissed skin. Ancestral knowledge acquired within. That started from a place of pride. Then enslaved and forced into a shameful hide. Involuntarily nurturing others from birth to grown. Separated and discriminated to ignore her own. Equality and Women's rights did not pertain to her. The darkness of her beauty made progression a blur. Dedication built motivation without a legal hand. Educated and complicated through struggles she stands. Trials and tribulations she managed to be supreme. Now get on your knees ... and greet a real Queen! |
