From the bleeding stolen womb of Africa to the dried navel of American,
Black man walking;
From the bell bowels of slave ships to auction blocks and cotton fields,
Black man walking;
From the plowed rows of cotton fields with bloody keloid bent backs,
Black man walking;
Along the blood-stained roads of the shadows of death...fearing no evil,
Black man walking
Along the rails over trouble waters of the liberating Underground Railroad,
Black man walking;
Passing klu trunks, klux branches and bloody leaves of klan lynching trees,
Black man walking;
Passing a cracked liberty bell, skewed scales and raised confederate flags,
Black man walking;
Stripped of dignity, pride castrated, and denied the pursuit of happiness,
Black man walking;
Tried, convicted and sentenced to death for the crime of being born black,
Black man walking;
Through the grinding gangrene grief of abject bigotry and American racism,
Black man walking;
Glad and rejoicing...waking each and every day on the death row of life,
Black man walking;
Slapping fascist knees off of his neck and breathing the air of liberation,
Black man walking;
With warrior spirit...in storms of oppression...soul anchored in the Lord,
Black man walking;
Struggling onward...wearing the breastplate of God...anointed with His oil,
Black man walking;
Albeit racism's rejected stone, he's always God's cornerstone of humanity:
Black man walking~~~<><><>
