For you flowers shouldn't be bought
they should be brought to you after being picked
in large fields, even with bloody hands and gallons of sweat on foreheads
You deserve the world
But God created the world for all
And it's for that reason only
That this world is not yours
If I was able to control it, that would be my chore

You are owed thrones and apologies
You are owed Love and all beautiful things that our eyes can see

Blessed but mistreated

Aggravated but medicated

Passive but an intellectual
Frightened but forgiving
You have raised every nation to its highest of heights
You have fought all of your days

either way you gave birth to miracles
Without pain there is no progress
Without shame there is no shelter
Without hope there can be no help
Without your eyes there can be no enlightenment and evolution

All possessions of Ill gotten gains were because of your phenomenal womb

The poets, writers, singers, dancers, spiritual leaders, intellectuals, athletes, entertainers and even gang bangers are possible because of you
You allowed us to use our free will as well, only to your detriment
This world needs to say that they're sorry Black woman

You are the only force on this earth with the permission of God that can alter reality with your determination and thoughts if you truly and sincerely wanted it
