With the audacious mendacity of fascistic pomp
and circumstances, we are federally ordered
back to schools.
The lives of our beings not mattering over the economy,
no concern was given to the reality that to do so would
would make us death-bound fools.
On the contrary, the presiding Pontius Pilate deemed it
should be considered as an honoured heroic sacrificial glee
to be a schooling death-camp refugee.
With mutated venomous logic, schools would be ideal locations
to pinpoint disease control of the young and old.
With mutated venomous logic, imagine the confined rotations
of once thinking students doing only what they are told.
With incubated healing logic, now imagine students and teachers
daily deleted from the attendance rolls.
With incubated healing logic, now imagine students, teachers, and
parents added to the daily virus death tolls.
Now, let us realize that from the beginning of the present-day excavated
and renewed heinous programs of political oppressions of the oppressed,
we have been deemed as sheep for the slaughter.
Now, let us realize that from the beginning these poetic words have been
the excavation of poetic truths flowing from meditations of the living word
of Him who is our guiding light, strength, and redeemer.
As it is written, let us “…not be deceived; God is not mocked…[know that]…
whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
We have choices…God’s liberating gifts…let us realize that we are not to be
the devil’s slaughtered…we are God’s chosen sheep.
