God's Will(wrestling/dancing with God)What were the odds... Fate found me at the crossroads of my choices...taking the chance... it was hard to choose...i didn't want to lose...but i chose to take the chance...my dance with destiny was overdue...in the twighlight of the moon...till the sun peaked over the hill...feeling the divine Sunshine of God's Will being fulfilled...i let go of me and held on to him...and died that night...so my life could begin... |
Escalators and ElevatorsWhile watching things escalate more... i wondered if its faster to take the escala-tors down...or take the eleva-tors up...i think ill take the latter...equally effective...moving with the mission of the collective...but tell me whats your perspective? |
Missunderstood(Broken Crowns Are Made to Be Fixed)They call her many names...but to me she is Missunderstood...still recovering from trauma in her childhood...drug use in her home her mother did what she could...daddy didn't know the meaning of fatherhood...raised on unstable foundations...she still..stood...Missunderstood...especially to those who couldn't stand or never stood...on dead end streets to make ends meet...for her families livelihood...But shes Missunderstood...she never wanted material things... or dreams of Hollywood...youll probably never understand..Missunderstood..with so many options...questioning why she would...or how she could...lower her standards of womanhood...and thats okay but dont stand over her...dont judge her...try to understand...maybe lend a hand or ear...to hear Missunderstood... |
Serpent's HissShe Flirted with temptation...seducing her spirit...the serpent stripped down her salvation...drunk from the juices... the forbidden fruit produces...desecration...blind to the spiritual guise of the situation...with a natural soul tie...i was bound to partake in...the tasting...now facing our nakedness we tried escaping...a fig leaf was not enough to hide the shame we laid in...desperately trying to maintain my innocence she was primed for the blaming...both banished from our garden of bliss...for a bite of knowledge...forever haunted by the echoes of the serpent's hiss... |
Flying FreeAs the Flowers dance in the breeze... and the nightingale sings...from beyond the trees... a Caterpillar raised from his tomb spreading its wings...fully transformed and free...appreciating the process that came to be...flying free with the breeze...while listening to the melodies the nightingale sings... |
A Psalm to The Suffering ServantBrought as A lamb to the slaughter...as we turned our face...unworthy of his grace...father have mercy for our ways...for the days we dont praise your name...or acknowledge the reason you came...forgive us for we know not what we do...reveal our errors so we can have a better relationship with you...so we can oneday be a bride to you...stand side by side with you...when Kingdom comes...Selah |
Damn ShameChoose God or choose Black...i choose righteousness in fact...i try to align my soul with that...i wake up everday black...i know the struggle...im told everyday to let go of pain...no double standards shouldn't others be doing the same thing...always talking bout the same things...expecting to get a change...what type of games are you playin...but ill just continue prayin...you preaching hate towards others instead of love for one another...downing another brother...claiming you love ya color...its a damn shame... |
Irony and ProphecyEyes pierce with rage as hearts fill with scorn...back struck with whips...his flesh being torn...they mocked and they laughed while Crowning him king...but that's the irony this prophecy brings... |
Trolls Live in the ShadeI knew a hungry old troll whose mouth filled of thirst...the sun beat him down so he beat people worst...into the shade escaping the heat...he searched all around for someone to eat...Passing a church he quietly lurked... a child for his belly...and blood for his thirst...so I stopped the troll...hungry and old...we both ate of bread true food for the soul... |
