Mid summers’ nightstand, sweating from the brow

Sunshine walks in stride with the pride of Alkebulan

Debutante in full  August  moon  glow,  shimmering prowl

Gliding blue light on a purple velvet background, fireworks sound

Sashaying a way to convey more, or less hurried to rush in display

OH! forms in minds before nary a sound is heard, as if still screams

Heat mirage’d upon her  features  that  further  her storied legend

Frozen in gaze, no smoke, nor fade,  it’s  her  stare  that takes me away

Her nubile  pupils  obediently  stand  at  the  center of  desired attention

Butter  pecan does  melt  toasted  almond  to  remnant puddles in vanilla

Nubian  Queen  drops  down  low  to  reach  for something remarkably cooler

Drunk,  my  palette drew  moist  as my  mind  grew  conclusions for  seasons

She spoke  my  name  as  if  she  birthed  me  into  this  very  existence instantly

Her countenance was a mixture of innocence churned into sultry evidence

Guilt had no shame, for she already knew my  thoughts and the exact role played

Unabashedly seizing my dreams by touching me and shaping my wrought imaginings

The rays of late summer morning  match  my  style in smile,  a Mid-Summer’s Night fling

She coded memoirs to my soul, writing Shakespeare,  leaving  the impeccable taste in pleasant memories of  Cold Cream……
