Far off her

heart will sway.

She claims that

this "love"

cannot be taken away.

Here she stands

a believer in the

broken.

As if there is a guaranteed

fix,

in a tool shed filled with hope.

Grieving,

out of the question.

She's off to find the source,

of this lost connection.

The trust unleashed,

from her loose submission.

Could only be granted

as everything given.

There is a pain

that lurks,

around the insanity

she is to bring.

Achieving the

harderst part

was of little value.

Everything given,

all for nothing.

My security fell

weak to his robust

attacks,

that swarmed into her

feelings like bee's

to honey.

Teary eyed she became

knowing he could not remain.

Release,

release!

I demanded at once.

Oh I wish we could change

what happened over the

last months.

They are failed chemistry

to a chemist.

She is a wingless bird

attempting to fly.

They are black clouds

thundering,

and starless skies.

Everythings been given,

all goodbye kisses blown

to private riches.

Oh how loud her cry,

after his grand deny.

She would give anything,

to go back to the start.

But the last farewell she gave,

and this was the hardest part.

When she told me

she gave him everything,

not taking note on what

not to give.

I knew she fell

deep well in his

trap,

common for gals like

her.

She is a disposed

good that

I sought to retrieve.

Aching in sympathy,

I knew I couldn't

replenish her everything.

So I serve as security,

attempting to repair

and protect her strayed

Window Shopper

I am her window shopper.

We met through the surface

of glistening glass,

making love by sight.

Slowly she persuaded me with

fantasies,

convincing her true worth.

But oh

the costs

are great,

depressing as summer's

passing.

If only this price

could fall like,

suicidal leaves landing

aimlessly.

This unattainable

purchase would not

stand a chance,

between my payable

offerings.

Grateful i'd be

at the placement

of ownership.

I am just a window

shopper.

She's forever the

showy display,
