Around me is the dusk of litter, when the street light shine
Reminding me of the way as smaller people we are seen
Now that ruling of class dips low onto the strugglers forehead
In your minds my knock at door is nothing but distress
Nothing more than rubbish
We are uneducated, unskilled and a threat
My heart beats fast and blood flows thick with all the knowledge of life Iv'e gained from one place to another
Offering my time for free in hope that you see the light shining above my head
Remove your sanctiminious judgement from me
Your accountability is removed from complacency
And in this place with lonely as a friend
I know in sweet triumph
How loud, how powerful, how threatening silence can be
Inflicted on me and in response
A quiet voice
Rising up from ashses without bearing so we all rejoice
