We the people; we the American people;
We the people of the world’s ethnicities;
We the people who are victims of bad trouble
Continue in the fight to end racial inequalities
That has been around in this country for a long time.
Though we have surpassed Sisyphus and his peers
In their seemingly insurmountable efforts in the climb
And have reached the top in spite of booing cheers,
The struggle to achieved true liberation has yet to be won.
Our efforts to achieve full equality in this, our nation
Still lay waiting to rise up over the towering horizon
And bring to light that which was written in the Declaration.
Let’s not forget that many have died to make this become so;
Let’s not forget that many have died to make a ghost of racism;
Let’s not forget that many have died to make bias a former foe;
The fight continues for the release of equal rights from prison.
Now is the time to rid our nation of all its political hypocrisy;
Now is the time to rid our nation of all its racial disparity;
Now is the time to rid our nation of all its abject bigotry;
Now is the time America, to become a self evident democracy!
