No, our country is not a stage
And neither are we, mere players.
Total reality is our current outrage;
We are flooded in social unrest layers.
Present exits and entrances of horror are real;
And the daily collateral damages are no damn jokes.
Current political games ape Let’s Make A Deal
And behind each curtain lay many zonks of dead folks.
A nation once revered and held in worldly high esteem
Is now looked upon with pity and worldly disdain
As the world hopes and prays our nation will be redeemed
And will no longer be seen as a nation ruled by the insane.
To be or not to be can no longer be a question in reality;
May the dawn’s early light of hope bring us desired equanimity.
