SYMPATICO DREAMING

Broken equations

When logic is opposed to everything
sometimes it’s hard to go back and
redeem yourself, try if you might
even if there are no consecutive days
when you thought there might be a
chance that you will  tie it altogether
and all those waking
streams of consciousness
actually meant something
just thinking
And always alluding to
with some certainty
that everything
will turn out fine,
Maybe
Tomorrow
Keep the
Faith

Restless

Words said in anger yesterday
cannot be tempered with silence
today
Words lingering into the partitions
covered by and awkward silence
of remembrance
My words are covered in silence
for if I throw back the covers
of my thoughts a sigh so deep
would penetrate the walls
barely above a whisper for
the ties that bind them together
unravel in the light of day.
 

Institutions

White man’s guilt
Black man’s burden
embodied together and
connected by  spilled
blood
buried with our ancestors
Now rising up thru the
concrete to our
youth,
Remembering
Torn from the pages
of old history books
stacked on shelves
behind hidden doors
where men gathered
to agree on what lies
to tell, so as to re-write
histories future with
a slant in their favor
leaving behind
monuments carved
in stone, echoing
thru vaulted ceilings
and domed arches
cemented bricks
of duplicity that
tell no tales
when darkness
falls, and the
lights
go
out.

In the face of ridicule
Taking chances
revealing something
new

mathematic computations
slight variations
wave length gravitation

staring into the night

No sight to see

I WATCHED SEVEN SEASONS OF SCANDAL AND SLEPT AMIDST THE PERSONALITY CHANGES OF THE MAIN CHARACTER IN THE SHOW WHO SUCCUMBED TO SOME OF THE DARKEST PLACES FOREVER DAMAGED  LOOKING FOR REDEMPTION.
