Just One

I dare not speak words or actions against myself,
to give you meaning in your definitions of me,
Outside of everything else, there was only one path
laid, there’s a selfless ness that speaks calmly there are no
attachments, undeniable in its essence of what and who
you were taught to be.
Stay grounded, not in fasle beliefs, that go
against the grain of who you are,
I am so damn  excited right now.

Prior To Ignition

The spark I longed for came and went
A momentary collapse of reason and sanity
folded in on itself, became a dull flaming pulse
waiting to be revived by reading someone else's words
scattered about on the fringes of a page I cannot
comprehend.
I stare blankly off in the distance , still waiting to put
2 and 2 together to remind myself that I am here.

Just A Spark

Just a spark
a small light that can break thru
from inside to out, to a page
of creation, a meaning
that my soul longs for, just a apark
to create, to transform my minds eye
to cover this blank canvas, like a cloudless sky
waiting to be ignighted by the spark of my
creation.
 

Puzzle Pieces

Jumbled up shapes
with rounded corners
no straight edges
arbitrary lines of history
circle of destruction
mapped out in some
dying memory of a 
place that no longer
exists shrouded in
a stone monument
to be torn down 
sometime later 
when the puzzle pieces
no longer fit.

TIME AND ME

Time woke me up this morning
Today seemed just like any other day
Having time by my side
Time was moving faster than me
I asked time to slow down for a minute
Time just smiled at me and said
You got to keep up or time will
Leave you behind
But I thought to myself sure but
Time you will always be my side
Yes time replied I have always been here
For you and I have watched you waste time
Doing nothing as if you have this lifetime
and the next one.

I wanted to argue with time but
time speaks for itself, so instead of arguing
I said look today is all the time I have, and
I will use it wisely.

Time kept moving, never stopping to look
behind to see if I could keep up.

Time began to frustrate me,
It felt so elusive, so at peace with itself
Having no cares, no worries just moving
with the flow of life as it ...
