Swiftly gone like thieves in the night
Snakes and lizards
Waiting to bite
Theirs is not their own
But a ghostly life
Through the alleys and meadows
Cold nights and shadows
Theirs is of highs and lows
Of Hunters always prey is all
Predators ever know
the wilderness
they have chose
In the crack houses
In the abandoned barns
They roam
Under the cover of night and
shadows of daylight
no place to call home
To them the normal life
Never sufficed
Now they are prey
Of their own device
As yesterday’s plights
Haunt them in the night
Their souls
One night spooked
Would only let them run
Now not judged
Now not ruled
By No one
Now Mother nature’s wrath
And the turning tides
Will soon seal their fate
karma awaits
for they know
from the hell they chose
there is no escape
