I got time but don't have time
for those who don't know the time
who don't see the shine inside
their own domain don't blame
own the pain it's discomforting
agonizing throbbing like migraines
affecting one side of the brain
suffering on one side of the head
just as fatal as a shot in the leg
it feels like a shot in head
moving around walking dead
stumbling in the dark bumping
the head look out behind you
it's something ahead to look
forward to so forward march
to the beat the band play
stay out the patty wagon
don't get run over by the
bandwagon the dogs wagging
the wheels dragging
pulling away pulling the weight
need a U Haul to withdraw
the props on set it's been
a kick in the head like having
brain injury for four or more
centuries in the fire now what
we gone freeze we got to learn
how to eat ice cream without
getting brain freeze slow it down
take it easy take a deep breath
feel it coming in the air

there's a old say that goes you have to laugh to keep from crying I get it I'm laughing but not cause I want to cry for any particular reason you know that idiom it never fails it means it happens every time once we recognize we're out of our league it's wise to pursue a league of our own I'm smiling I have something to smile about that don't have nothing to do with what's going on in the world something I can't do nothing about on that note "Uh Oh" is an expression of alarm dismay and means it's too late "it's about to go down"

my distaste for voting season is people act like their talking to children telling them don't forget to brush their teeth asking them did they wash their hands telling them what they should do what they need to do what they have to do people act like they get paid to remind grown folk to vote who's going to know you did if they didn't see you do it
