November don't feel no different
from October I still remember
the thunder and lightening striking
through these dreams I'm having
nightmares I don't scare that easily
I was raised by a beast that's
how come I'm good at playing sleep
it's hard to detect when I creep
I still remember the creak in the
stairs behind the door "standing there"
stiff as a board holding breath in
careful not to exhale waiting
for the right time to excel
no matter how I spruce up
the room it still feels like a cell
business too small to survive
the fall still picking up pieces
from it all fail fast and come back
to claim the throne some shiesty
relative sitting on like it's their
seat like it's their chair
sliding down the railing
like it's their stairs
sitting on the couch like it's their house
petting my pit like its their pet
setting traps
like it's their mouse "GET OUT"
guess who's coming to town
guess who's touching down
one who wears the crown
one who bears the light
one who is the knight
