Is it distance?
Could it be miles of roads, house, and forest?
Or as simple as thoughts and dreams,
Wanting to feel your touch,
Breathe your air,
Look into your eyes.
A heartbeat of sadness with every second I’m not with you.
A heartbeat of loneliness,
I find myself stretched across a bed
Tear filled eyes,
Yearning for your presence,
Your love, your embrace
How do I manage? Survive? Live this way?
I tell myself I deserve better but where do I find it?
Is it the distance?
Some say if distance is between us and our love is so deep,
Distance means NOTHING…..
How true is this?
Why can’t you see the tears in my eyes?
Why is this distance passing up by?
