canvassing hope, love, and faith in desolate times: haiku in 6 movements

CATEGORY

                   i

in desert confines,

blooming cacti growing well—

birthing…their flowers…

                ii

ensuring safety…

sheltering in confinement—

distant love…growing…

                iii

quarantined by covid…

like cacti weathering fate,

we grow love needles…

               iv

in pandemic times,

god has heard our humble cries—

heed his treating cure…

              v

in god, we must trust—

when our faith has been tested,

he has never failed…

                vi

we are in god’s love…

in god’s love, let us fear not—

curing love is here…

Thanks, LP45. I'm in a Haiku/5-7-5 mood. Your inspiring feedback writings continue to motivate me in establishing imagery in messaging. Again, thanks. Peace and Love.
