you don't come from the streets
and not know how to survive
and you can't live your life right
 without knowing how  to forgive
it's not simple nor is it complex
 it's a process some things ain't
meant to be unbent don't bend
 over backwards trying to change
the shape of things don't get
bent out of shape life's uncertain
like when earth shakes in the
wake of a peaceful day it's
enough to wake the dead
 sometimes we don't land on
our feet we sometimes fall
on our head still we tend to
survive the fall often a few
 screws come loose but it
don't take nothing to drive
a few nails to keep from
fallen apart it's something
 about the heart that keeps
on pumping through it all
 it's what's inside that makes
us who we are we could
learn a lot from a star
its gone shine regardless

Excellent write, arousing deep contemplation. Reminds us that indeed, "...stumbling is not falling..."; and while the truth may waver and or rumble at times, it remains that which is true. Yes, even "shooting stars" shine on---wherever it is that they go beyond our sight. Peace and Love, M'Lowe.
