In the cases of cases
involving the matter
of black lives,
we are taught
many fateful lessons
that rattle our learned faith.
The greatest among them
is this: Those who fire killing
bullets—be they of powered
metal of bone knees—outing black
lives, are merely fired—not charged—
and live freely on.
But the dead they caused to be—buried
or fired in cremation—are sentenced
to eternal death!
What a powerful lesson
in present-day American jurisprudence
in which justice and equality
are clarified as ideology, while injustice
is clearly, a demonic reality
of the atrocities in the land of the free.
