Lakeside Haiku

Light kisses the lake,

in one spot more than others,

Rebel Hearted

Poetry impersonates our chaotic conscious,

eagerly spilling ink on vacant pages.

Crowded thoughts colonize our minds,

running ramped with loose laces.

Passionate anarchy soothes our souls,

kindred spirits sharing writtens with no relation.

Lyrics traveling ages

in bold formation.

Searching for salvation

with metrical translation.

We versify with intensity,

rage calms in our enemies

through rhythmic divinity

and dramatic similes

crafted from spilled ink

and loose laces;

lawless serenity.

Introspect (Ode to Jung)

Lost in conversation,

I’m on a first name basis

with my anima.

Architypes in congregation

at my persona’s oasis

burning cannabis.

Poems

capture the moment like

cameras.

Phantoms of “self”

moving in tandem

and building stamina,

they can’t handle us.

Need You To Know

I need you to know!

I close my eyes

then write my future

in past tense. 

Sanity is

average,

Xanax for your

passions.

People with no vision,

call mine madness.

I just need you to know!

I love me!

I hate me

for the same reason.

My angels and demons

share the same features. 

I live in the future

with no regard for

carpe diem.

My mind whispers,

“Validation, wealth, acceptance,

you need’em.”

My heart screams,

“That ain’t freedom!”

Now you know.
