Forgetting youTrying to let go of you while holding on to my sanity It's like forgetting the peices of you between the sheets of another...it doesn't work, they always find their way back. Like breadcrumbs leading me back to toxicity. I've tried to let go but you've tied your self to my soul, etched your name deep into my heart so that no one else can reside there. See I've traced every inch of your body and memorized your face and all of it's movements from the apples of your cheeks how they protrude when you smile to how your eyelashes look while you sleep. I once told you no one will ever love you as much as I love you and I stand by that, but now I'm left pondering... obsessing really, on why I was never good enough for you to return the love I gave. Now I am nothing but damaged goods, somewhat of a fein searching in others to feel the way I felt when I was with you, but nobody can compare. If you ask me why I love you I won't be able to put it into words but millions ... |
rewindMy heart used to beat hard as the thunder above me with the thought of love then you or two or three of you made me cry I've cried so many tears of heartbreak it could fill the Pacific ocean but now they are as dry as the Mojave desert in the middle of the summer and my heart cold as the icecaps of the south pole so what do I do to reverse the repercussions of your actions I want my heart to beat with the intensity of the humming birds wings again I want to get butterflies in my stomach again I want to smile from the inside again help me please I just want to feel again |
LOVEWhat is love really there is no real definition of love, you cant touch love, you can't see love. So i ask again what is love? but a word a thought, something our brain makes us feel, but when you not around the person you were once in “LOVE†with you no longer love him/her the most common phrase “ I love you but im not in love with you anymoreâ€. what is that supposed to mean really? I once read this article that said when people have sex together and they orgasm and they are having frequently or not even frequently just having good sex there hormones send signals to the brain saying that, that person is your mate which makes you feel like your in love with them. In the spanish language they have different words for the different levels of love for example Te amo / I love you is reserved for your lover not your family or friends. Te quiero/ I love you, implies affection, love , care, not necessarily lustful. You can say te quiero to your family it is... |

imariI look at her looking at me and realize this is how things should be. Beautiful brown eyes olive skin curly hair thanking God I can be there to raise her up to be a better woman than me to teach her to be the best she can be. I’m blessed to watch her grow and to teach her all that she should know.
