Dis Ah So It Go... (Apropos Of [FB] Jamaicans Around The World)

Yeah, I me, Teacher;

me’a soon go where

me papa long time go.

So, inna teacher English,

me’a teach and tell’ya dis:

The oppressors tried

but could not extinct us;

so, they mentally castrated

our spirit and righteousness

and psychologically injected us

with their oppression syndrome.

Now, we engage in self-eradication

leaving the oppressors relaxing and

enjoying themselves on the beaches

as we engage in doing their eradicating

oppressive work for them.

Listen, we can continue to do and be

the children of the devil or forever be

the blessed children of Jah.  Listen, our

ancestors—with less—created so much

for us with love and dedication to total

liberation; why are we with so much more,

hating and reducing ourselves to being less?

Why out of many, one people can be so

devoted to reducing themselves to zero for

the wicket ones who desiccated the fertile

womb our ancestral Motherland; and now

seeks to do likewise in this adoptive land?

Indeed, it is what it is, but it does not have

to be so, and should in no way be so.  Thus,

I close out this lesson with reference to

the greatest textbook ever written for us:

“Finally, brethren, [and sisters] whatsoever

things are honest, whatsoever things are just,

whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever

things are of good report; if there be any virtue,

and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

Peace and Love.

In all humility, I must say that it has been such a blessing in the sojourn that I have had the opportunities to have a moment in the lives of those of you "youths" that we elders have been waiting on! Peace and Love, 2b2b2. Baba mlowe5.
