Of Tricked Bagged Justice…For All
(Apropos Of Present Trials & Tribulations)
Ah, law and order and jurisprudent
justice:
Pro-life overrules the death penalty;
Defendant guilty with possibility of
probation.
Ah, the dignity of jurisprudent justice.
If this is all wrong, we shall eventually
see—
But here, all never included you and me.
The Old Testament said thou shall
not kill
And also, an eye for an eye…a tooth
for a tooth…
Will Pilate once again get to wash bloody
hands?
Or will feet washing again serve justice to us all?
We shall see…we shall see…as we kneel and pray
it not be—
An explosive fiery bloody flowing urban-bond sea!
P.S.: Hey, what do I know, not trained in the art of
jurisprudence?
I’m just a breathing griot—anointed in the art
of poetic justice.
