Times have been tough and things have gone wrong, But the deep love that you and I share has definately been there all along. You say, “why go on if there is nothing that is right?” But we never give up and we both continue to fight. I think that there is a light of love that gives both of us our sight. Sure, I know that our hearts get dark sometimes, but I think that we both know that light is still bright To each other, we have not been very fair, But somehow we get through them because of something special that we share. The trials make you aware of the way that we still feel A love that is not fake but remains so very real. I know at times that it seems like you have gotten a raw deal, But we must get through all of the trails until we are both healed. Trials are not easy and you feel that there is no hope, And I know that there are times when you feel like you are at the end of your rope, But you must dig deep into the pit of your very own heart Let it stop your despair and try to give us a new start. For true love for each other is a special gift that some people never get, So when those trials come— Please do not ever forget That there is a rare thing that we both share Which had to come from up above, So have faith that those trials will end; Because what got us through so far, Had to be nothing but pure love. ©Crystal Floyd
