I do my homework write my own verse like "I don't eat if I don't work" remind myself to stay woke wrote my own quote so many times the pen broke between lines a song written in a notebook a jingle with a catchy hook pencil pictures in a sketch book stick figures on a notepad wash it with a sponge dry it with a rag put the trash in a garbage bag take it out back strike a match send signals to the cabbage patch where the rabbits at cut some carrots for the stew hot water cornbread to sop the roux honey butter on a biscuit sweet and finger licking "don't bother me while I'm cooking" stay out the kitchen don't want no one to see where I put the recipe
